This apartment is named after Vazon Bay which is about a four minute drive from us. It is a long expanse of sand with slipways and steps for access. This beach is popular at any stage of the tide as there is always access to the sea over the sand. It is a favourite with surfers and windsurfers at all times of the year. Free parking is available at many points along its length.
Vazon Apartment is one of two apartments within an old Guernsey barn conversion. It was previously used as a stable for horses with lean-to hay storage to the rear.
The barn was completely transformed in 2001 into what it is now two modern apartments that have been given the grade of four star.All that is left of the original building are the outer walls.
Vazon Apartment is accessed at ground floor level from the granite courtyard. There is one step up into the apartment and once inside you will find both bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor. The twin bedroom has a window that overlooks the stable yard and the double bedroom has two windows, one looking out into the stable yard with the other looking out over a back lawned area this room easily fits an extra single folding bed. From the lobby, just inside the front door, is a staircase that takes you to the lounge/living/kitchen area where you will find everything you are likely to need for your general day-to-day living, including cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, cutlery, pots and pans, TV, DVD and CD player etc. The lounge/living area has a window overlooking the stable yard, a conservation roof light overlooking the courtyard and two velux roof lights to the rear.

If you want to bring your own laptop, please do as Vazon Apartment is covered by our WI-FI network.
All bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided by us. We can also, on request, supply you free of charge with a cot and high chair. There is no charge for electricity or central heating which is available 24/7 and controlled from within the apartment.

| We stayed in the Vazon apartment for our visit to Guernsey. We would come back and stay in the same place again every time! Lovely clean and spacious living area, great views and lovely setting for our holiday. Kevin and family very so helpful and friendly. Lots of extras in the apartment like buckets and spades, fishing nets and crab lines. Great for our 6 year old. The kitchen had everything needed for self catering - including wine and biscuits! Easy parking and lovely animals around the farm. Perfect place to stay! |

| We stayed with our two boys aged 5 and 8
in VAZON appartement , which is about two floors, from october 13th till
october 21st this year. It was our first visit to Guernsey, and our
children and we found it wonderful. The appartement was fully equipped
and we felt really at home during our stay (-thank you also for the warm
welcome on our first day with a bottle of fine red wine and chocolate
cookies, we enjoyed it a lot !!) Cindy and Kevin are very friendly hosts
and we would be glad if there is a possibility to return ! We came by
plane and sometimes it was a bit difficult to move because we didn`t
really understand the bus system, so we walked a lot. We love the
mixture of french and british culture and learnt a lot about the
occupation time. Nevertheless, the museums are worth to visit (f.e. Fort Grey, Castle Cornet, The german Underground Hospital). We had nearly the whole time good weather, so we were not often in our appartement. But we found it as it was in the description and loved it. Food stuff is very good at L`Eree Hotel and the Longfrie Inn. The children loved Longfrie Inn, because there is an indoor playground with everything for their special needs. Fantastic for the children and great for the parents ! The beaches are amazing, huge moulding boxes for our little builders (and also a big treasure box for them). Maybe we will visit Guernsey once again and if so, we will certainly try to get the accommodition at La Pointe Appartement !! Kind regards - Andreas, Birgit, Marius and Tobias |
